The morning routine is where care usually starts. A caregiver arrives, helps with washing and dressing at whatever pace the day allows, and makes breakfast. Someone sits while it is eaten, which is the difference between a meal made and a meal had.
Through the day: laundry run, dishes done, bathroom cleaned, bed changed, floors kept clear. Light housekeeping, done every visit rather than in an occasional blitz, so the house never gets to the state that prompts a difficult conversation.
Lunch and dinner get cooked to taste and to whatever the doctor has restricted. Groceries and prescriptions get collected.
Medication reminders come on schedule. Caregivers remind. They do not administer, and they will tell you when a reminder is being ignored rather than let it slide.

Live-in care means continuous presence with a built-in sleep period and a scheduled relief rotation.
Matching. Before anyone starts, we sit down in the home and work out what the household actually needs from a person. Someone quiet or someone who talks. Someone who can manage a strong-willed parent without a fight. Then we put forward a caregiver we think fits, and if the fit is wrong after two weeks we change it.
Continuity. The same caregiver, the same days. When they are sick or on leave, a substitute from the same team comes with the care plan already read.
One point of contact. You have a name and a number for the person who owns your family’s care plan. Not a duty desk.
Changing plans. Needs move. Hours go up, a night shift gets added, a daytime visit becomes a full day. We rewrite the plan rather than making you start the conversation over.
Rates are quoted per plan. Hours per week, daytime versus overnight, and the level of hands-on assistance are what move the number.
